THE FIRST PENTECOSTAL CRUSADE
Acts 2:37,38,41,42,1,5-11,37

The first pentecostal crusade took place in Jerusalem. Jerusalem was the largest city

1. POWERFUL PROCLAMATION WITH CONVICTING FIRE
2. THE PROMISED PENTECOST FOR CHRIST FOLLOWERS
3. PROPER PRESERVATION 9F THE CRUSADE FRUITS

1. POWERFUL PROCLAMATION WITH CONVICTING FIRE
Acts 2:1-4,14,37; Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:3; John 16:7-11; Hebrews 1:7; Acts 2:39; Isaiah 6:6,8; 64:1,2; Jeremiah 23:28,29; 20:9; Acts 25:24,25a
The message of the first crusade was:
- Passionate
- Pungent
- Punching
- Piercing
- Pinching
After the message,
- their response was spontaneous
- their enquiry was urgent
- Their readiness was obvious
- their repentance was genuine
- their conversion was clear
- their faith was real
- their baptism was authentic
- their fellowship was true

2. THE PROMISED PENTECOST FOR CHRIST FOLLOWERS
Acts 2:37-39; Luke 3:16; 24:49; John 7:37-39; 14:12-17,26; Acts 1:4,5,8
Following Christ makes us a recipient of great grand promises. At the entrance of the kingdom is the promise of salvation. The higher we aspire the more we benefit. Following on we discover sanctification, spirit baptism, peace, joy, and many more things. There is till a lot if you can continue.
In the other way round, there is GRACE at the entrance, as you move on there is GODLINESS and GIFT of the Holy Spirit

3. PROPER PRESERVATION 9F THE CRUSADE FRUITS
Acts 2:40-42
Those that came for the crusade came from different areas:
_Judea - Acts 2:9,14; 8:1
_Pontus - Acts 2:9; 18:1,2
_Asia - Acts 2:9; I Corinthians 16:19 (late follow up)
_Crete - Acts 2:11; 27:12-15,21 (nobody followed up), Titus 1:5,10, 11,13,16 (follow up came very late now by Paul the Apostle making the arrangement for Titus)
The follow up of converts must be:
- Immediate
- Thorough
- Detailed
- Painstaking
- Exhausting
- Current (Concurrently)
You follow up like
-A Friend "You don't clean a fish before you catch a fish"
-An Intercessor
I Thessalonians 2:7-10; 3:5,8-10
_There is a lot to do and we are ready
_There is a lot to do and we are able
_There is a lot to do and God will strengthen
