PAUSE, PERUSE AND PONDER

IT WILL NOT BE LONG

Oh my beloved and fellow pilgrims in the Christian race. The signs are everywhere in the clouds and so glaring it is that it will not be long. It’s a thing of joy for me to bring to your remembrance that Him that saved us and gave us the hope and assurance of returning will soon be here.
To all who had laid down all at the foot of the cross; those whose sins are forgiven and are patiently waiting for the return of the Lord, I am glad to tell you that your waiting will not be that long again.
To those who are tired of waiting; feeling very weak and the pains from the pressure of the outside world are causing tears to drop down their cheeks. They possibly have been asking God when the day that will put an end to their pains will be. Here is my counsel for you, “it will not be long”.
He who has promised is not a man. He who told us to persevere to the end will not say so if there is no awaiting comfort at the end of the race. Faithful is He who has promised us that He is coming back to take us home (John 14:3). His promises never failed. The prophecies concerning his birth came to pass; that of his crucifixion and death didn’t fail; His promise of returning definitely is inevitable.
You might have passed through some difficult moments or be faced with some life-threatening circumstances. All you need is a little patience and all will be over. A little more endurance will see you above your limitations. Rest and trust in God for all the grace that you need for the race. Pray earnestly for more strength because in no time at all the Saviour world will appear in the sky.
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry – Hebrews 10:37
