SATURDAY'S WORKERS TRAINING

EXCEPTIONAL PROGRESS WITH THROUGH FREEDOM AND DIVINE WISDOM

John 8:32

Some kind of freedom cases talked about in the bible are mentioned in the passages below:
Matthew 17:24; I Samuel 17:25; Acts 22:25-28
Great advantages are attached to true freedom.

This freedom is the;
- Freedom of Stranger's limitations
- Freedom of Citizensip
- Freedom From Satan's Kingdom
- Freedom from Sin's dominion
- Freedom Of the son in the Lord
- Freedom Unprecedented

Peace of mind progress with peace of mind
Proverbs 6:1; 3:13-16; 4:5-7; 9:1,9-11; 14:1; 16:16; 19:8; 23:23; 31:26
Independence is not to be indifference
It is not to be free from what is good but to interact with what is good
Independent of evil, foreign powers and things that will bring us down. And our relationship with the God who gave us the freedom will bring about progress.

1. OUR PRAYERFUL EXPECTATIONS OF TOTAL FREEDOM AND DESIRABLE WISDOM
2. THE PAINFUL EXPERIENCE OF TRIVIAL FREEDOM AND DIVERTED WISDOM
3. THE POWERFUL EXPLOIT OF TRUE FREEDOM AND DIVINE WISDOM

1. OUR PRAYERFUL EXPECTATIONS OF TOTAL FREEDOM AND DESIRABLE WISDOM
John 8:32,36; Romans 6:1,18,22; Galatians 5:1
Having known so many things about who Christ is, you should answer this question: are you free?
If there is freedom and there is no freedom, it does not pay. Job 39:5,17,13-16;
The freedom of Joseph added to his wisdom made him who he became -Psalm 105:20-22
We need to add wisdom to the freedom to have the promised success
+Peace come through freedom
+Progress comes when wisdom is added to the freedom
Daniel 2:14,20-23

2. THE PAINFUL EXPERIENCE OF TRIVIAL FREEDOM AND DIVERTED WISDOM
Ecclesiastics 1:13-18; 2:3,9-11,15,17; 3:14,18-22; 4:13; 5:10-13; 6:6-9; 7:23-28; 8:9,10,16,17; 9:18; 10:5,6,15; 11:8; 12:1,7,13,14
Solomon was in a free country, number one citizen of the free nation; other nations were coming in. But Solomon's wisdom was diverted
Solomon diverted the wisdom that God gave him. He went after things that will not profit him. He led people astray from God.
In Solomon wisdom turned to foolishness. He was
- wise and weak
- wise and worldly
- wise and wanton (self indulgent)
- wise and wilful (God's servants could not reach him. He shielded himself away from the prophets)
- wise and wasteful (spent the Lord's money and the nation's resources on women)
- wise and worse (worse than the wandering wanderers in the wilderness)
- wise and wanting (on the long run, he was weighed and found wanting)

3. THE POWERFUL EXPLOIT OF TRUE FREEDOM AND DIVINE WISDOM

We must be free, remain free and wise. The first kind of freedom God wants us to think about is freedom from sin
Romans 6:7,18,22; I Peter 2:16; Deuteronomy 32:29; Job 28:12-18,20-28; Psalm 111:10; Proverbs 9:10; 15:33; I Corinthians 3:10,11
Colossians 1:28; Matthew 24:45-47; Daniel 12:2,3

There are some questions that when you sincerely ask yourself, you will have no choice than to detest the believe of those that say there is no God.

STAND FAST; STAND QUICKLY AND QUICKER

STAND FAST; STAND QUICKLY AND QUICKER

Being prompt to duty is a distinguishing factor of an assiduous defender of the faith.
In addition to your being a lidless watcher, you must always act quickly. Some daring Christians have got to loose their lives not because they were not watchful enough but it is that they were too slow in responding to the upshot of watchfulness.
While faithfully watching and standing fast in the Lord, instructions will be given from the throne of grace. These instructions demand prompt response and any delay or dilly-dallying can be disastrous.
The attacker (devil) has never stopped launching attacks, so it will be great wisdom in display to be quicker in attacking before the attacker attacks. Just as the popular saying that attack is the best form of defence but it must be done while you have 50-50 percent chance. Don't wait for the devil to launch his attack, you might survive it but the deed would have been done and the scar most cases are irredeemable. Thus, making attempt to respond to the onslaught of the devil is a great miscalculation for the watchman.

"Stand fast, be quick in taking divine instructions into action and quicker in attacking the attacker"

PROVERBS DAILY

The danger of consistent refusal to yield warnings is not even that the giver of the warning might get tired but it is that you won't be able to know when the destruction you are warned against is about hitting you until you fall a victim.

Thursday 28 September 2017

STAND FAST; STAND OBEDIENTLY

STAND FAST; STAND OBEDIENTLY

Obedience is very key to stand fast. Instructions will constantly be given from the throne of grace and it must be distinctively obeyed to the least. A 't' must be crossed with it's tittle, likewise no 'i' should be left without being dotted. Be keen to be attentive to the Spirit's leading no matter how insignificant it might appear to be.
God should not be confined to one pattern of communication, he can decide to give information in a new way. All you must do is to obey Him as He leads. Always remember that 'to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams'

"As much as you are to obedient to God be careful of all information, subject them to scriptural test because the devil also manifest himself as angel of light"

STAND FAST; STAND DON'T BE NERVOUS NOR NONCHALANT

STAND FAST; STAND DON'T BE NERVOUS NOR NONCHALANT

As much as you are not disturbed or frightened by occurrences around you, you should be very careful not to be nonchalant. You are to place all happenings around you side by side with the scriptures. This will help you not to be distributed nor distracted. You will rather be actively committed to prayers so as not to be victim of the last days events.
A life of complete trust and total dependence on God will help you not to be nervous nor anxious. On the other hand, your not being nonchalant means you'll need to be up and doing as duty demands.

"Never cease to launch attack when you are supposed to its a sign of not being nonchalant and don't shiver when the enemy respond, shivering is a sign of being nervous"

STAND FAST; STAND PRAYERFULLY

STAND FAST; STAND PRAYERFULLY

Your prayer is the means of generating the divine strength to keep you standing. Praying while standing keeps you constantly connected to God. This makes hearing from God easier and more convenient. During prayer:
- the attackers attacks are wasted
- the deceivers devices are diffused
- the adversary's are unarmed
- the ammunitions of the archfiend is annihilated
- the predators are made preys
Also, during prayers:
- Bonds are broken
- The bounds are freed
- Your arsenal is fortified
- You prevail even in the midst of perils
- You get bolder and boldly

"You cannot stand far in standing fast if your standing is without a firmly grounded stand in prayers"

PROVERBS DAILY

The uncertainty of when the recompense of the evil deeds of a wicked man will come upon him will not allow him have a settled mind. Cease to do evil and enjoy perfect calmness in your soul

PROVERBS DAILY

The largest fractional unit of time that you have is "NOW". The "NEXT" is vague and its only God who owns all days. How dare you boast of tomorrow when today is not fully yours

The condition of the man born blind:
-Was a mystery unresolved
-Showed the Majesty of Christ in revelation
-Revealed the ingratitude of carnal natural usaved sinful men
-The blindness of Jewish leaders
-The beauty and benefits of solitary faith in Christ
-The courage of standing wlone without compromising with the blind Jewish leaders
What Jesus did then, He is still able to do today.
Psalm 146:8,9; Isaiah 42:19-21; Luke 7:21; Acts 26:18; II Corinthians 4:4; I John 2:11; Revelation 3:17

1. THE OPINION AND MANY FALLACIES IN THEIR CULTURE
2. THE OUTCOME OF MAN'S FOOLISHNESS AND CORRUPTION
3. THE OBEDIENCE OF MEANINGFUL FAITH IN CHRIST

1. THE OPINION AND MANY FALLACIES IN THEIR CULTURE
John 12:1-3

a_Fact - The man was born blind: John 12:1,20
Examples of some people that were born with defects from birth: Matthew 19:12,13; Acts 3:2; 14:8
A fact could have been noted that something has gone wrong but that is not the end of it.
b_Falacy - that he was born blind because of his sin: John 9:2
The Jewish people looked at some parts of the scriptures and misinterpreted them. Saying that it is possible for a child to be punished for the sin he has committed before he was born. Psalm 51:5; 58:3; Isaiah 48:8; Matthew 16:13
c_Falsehood - that he was born blind because of his parents' sin: John 9:2
This is also as a misinterpretation of some parts of the scriptures
Jeremiah 31:29; Lamentations 5:7; Ezekiel 18:1,2
Jesus says no to all the traditions and erroneous things John 9:3

2. THE OUTCOME OF MAN'S FOOLISHNESS AND CORRUPTION
John 5:14; Psalm 107:17; I Chronicles 21:8,7,14,17
a_ the outcome of sin on self: Micah 6:13; I Corinthians 11:29,30
b_ the outspread of sin in others: Genesis 12:14-17; 20:2-8,18; Jonah 1:1-4,15
c_ the outflow of sin into eternity: I Samuel 3:13; Psalm 92:6,7; Jude 1:12,13

3. THE OBEDIENCE OF MEANINGFUL FAITH IN CHRIST
John 9:4-12

a_ the occupation of the true Christ: John 4:34; Luke 19:13; Matthew 5:14-16
b_ the obedience for total cure: John 9:6,7
c_ the observation in the community: John 9:8-11
The obedience of total cure gave us an insight that it does not happen the same way every time. He did obeyed, washed and received his sight. He obedience was unique it was:
_obedience without complaints
_obedience without consultation
_obedience without companionship
_obedience without comparison
_obedience without contention (arguments)
_obedience without comprehension
_obedience before cure

PROVERBS DAILY

THE CONSECRATION AND SANCTIFICATION OF GOD'S TEMPLE

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON SEPTEMBER 24, 2017
@ IBTC

THE CONSECRATION AND SANCTIFICATION OF GOD'S TEMPLE

II Chronicles 5:11-14
This happened at the time of dedication of the building of the temple that Solomon built. Solomon was so happy because God has chosen him and that at his time, the temple will be built. He prayed unto the Lord - II Chronicles 6:19-33. This prayer of Solomon is impressive and scriptural. God's response is instructive for Solomon, Israel and for the church today - II Chronicles 7:12-22.

1. THE PURPOSE AND THE SANCTITY OF GOD'S HOLY TEMPLE
2. THE PERIL OF SINFULNESS IN GOD HALLOWED TEMPLE
3. THE PRESERVATION OF SANCTIFICATION IN GOD'S HEAVENLY TEMPLE

1. THE PURPOSE AND THE SANCTITY OF GOD'S HOLY TEMPLE
Genesis 28:17-22; Jeremiah 36:5-7; Malachi 3:1-4; Isaiah 56:7; Matthew 21:12-14; Mark 12:35-37; 14:49; Luke 2:46; 19:47,48; 20:1; Acts 5:19-21,42
The temple was to remain holy and to be the sanctuary and habitation of God continually. The purpose is found in the very beginning in Genesis 28:17-22
The house of God is a place where we have:
-Revelation coming from heaven to earth
-Intercession moving from earth to God
-God gives directives and direction
-Make a vow and consecrate ourselves
-To read the word of God which reveals sin and backsliding

2. THE PERIL OF SINFULNESS IN GOD HALLOWED TEMPLE
I Kings 9:1-9; 11:1-11; Jeremiah 7:8-12,15; 23:11; II Chronicles 36:14; I Corinthians 3:16,17; Mark 7:20; Hebrews 12:14,15; James 3:5,6; I Peter 4:17-17; Revelation 21:27
Solomon soon forgot how he had prayed and dedicated the temple which he built. The children of Israel also went away from God's instructions.
They didn't consider the same effort in keeping the temple clean and holy as much as they did during the building
The body is meant to be kept clean and holy, free from sin to be habitable by God.
Th temple Solomon built was finally destroyed and may lost the opportunity of fellowshipping with God

3. THE PRESERVATION OF SANCTIFICATION IN GOD'S HEAVENLY TEMPLE
II Chronicles 29:5,6,15,16; Leviticus 20:7,8; I Peter 1:14-16; Luke 1:74,75; Matthew 5:6,8; Acts 15:9; II Timothy 2:21,22; Hebrews 13:12
God's nature is holiness and the mission of Christ here on earth is to make us holy. The Holy Spirit by His work demands holiness. The original creation demand holiness and sanctification. Christ the head of the church is holy and demands all of us to be holy. Heaven is also holy and if we must get there we must be holy. Two persons cannot walk together except there be an agreement
Psalm 24:3,4
You must get away from all sin before you can climb up unto the holy place of God. We are to:
pursue it
possess it
preserve it
preach it
publish it
publicise it
protect it
Hebrews 2:9; Psalm 93:5

PROVERBS DAILY

The cost and commitment in erecting a good edifice will be a waste if the structure is not properly maintained and taken good care of.

THE PRESCRIBED SANCTIFICATION OF GOD'S HOLY TEMPLE

TUESDAY LEADERS DEVELOPMENT
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON SEPTEMBER 19, 2017

THE PRESCRIBED SANCTIFICATION OF GOD'S HOLY TEMPLE
II Chronicles 29:5-8,10,11,15,16

The temple in Israel is divided into three parts:
-The outer court
-Inner court
-The holy of holies
God's habitation during the time of the children of Israel was a tabernacle and latter a specifically designed temple. It was to be the holiest and cleanest of all the houses in the land.
The ministers of God are to be holy because we represent God here on earth. In the new testament, believer are now the temple of God. The ministers who is keeping the house of God must be as holy as possible it is on this side of heaven.
II Timothy 2:21
The holiness of ministers of God is not to be compared to anyone but as holy as the blood of Jesus can; As holy as calvary can; As holy as the second work of grace can sanctify
Psalm 11:3,4; I Corinthians 3:16; 6:19,20; II Corinthians 6:16

1. MEANINGFUL TERMS FOR EXPERIENTIAL SANCTIFICATION
2. MINISTERIAL THIRST FOR ESSENTIAL SANCTIFICATION
3. MANIFOLD TESTIMONIES OF ENTIRE SANCTIFICATION

1. MEANINGFUL TERMS FOR EXPERIENTIAL SANCTIFICATION
These terms are:
_Sanctification - I Thessalonians 4:3,4; II Thessalonians 2:13; Ephesians 5:25-27; I Thessalonians 5:22-24; Hebrews 13:12-14

_Purity of heart - Matthew 5:8; Psalm 24:3,4; _Holiness and righteousness - Luke 1:74,75

2. MINISTERIAL THIRST FOR ESSENTIAL SANCTIFICATION
Matthew 5:6
Thirst is a feeling of dryness. It is a yearning that pushes you for a refreshing water. Spiritual thirst is similar this, in that it makes you seek God.(Matthew 5:6). The way we thirst after God will show whether we really love God Psalm 42:1,2; 63:1,2.
Because of the longing drive and desire for more of God, He fills us up - Isaiah 44:3; 55:1-3
Hebrews 13:20,21; Genesis 17:1,7; Jeremiah 31:31; 32:39,40; Ezekiel 36:25-27

PROVERBS DAILY

That you have more than enough doesn't mean you should eat more than enough. Gluttony is not godly, beware!

PROVERBS DAILY

Great men can trade with huge amounts of money but will never toil with their names

Name transcend generations either well managed or not while riches only last throughout one generation if properly managed.

We Pray in the Name of the Lord then we get His riches
Thus, name supersedes riches. Guide against any dent on your name

Thursday 21 September 2017

PROVERBS DAILY

It might be difficult for you to reach men in authority but your prayers can go as far as causing them to do things in your favour

Wednesday 20 September 2017

PROVERBS DAILY

Someone thinks taking alcohol helps to take off mind from an unpleasant occurrence and on the long run finds himself lying by the roadside or in the gutter. What a multiplicity of FOOLISHNESS.
Therefore, beware! Burdens are only lifted at CALVARY by the SAVIOUR not with CUPS of STRONG drinks

STAND FAST; STAND LIKE A "MAN OF WAR"

STAND FAST; STAND LIKE A "MAN OF WAR"

You don't need anyone to tell you that in standing fast for Christ you are ready for war. You should be ready to war with:
- Sin : Sin is ubiquitous, you cannot go anywhere in the world where you will not find sin. Therefore, as a defender of the faith you must take an undaunted stand against sin
- Self : You must conquer the demand of your self. The self will always want everything convenient and comfortable.
- Society : The society will not be in good terms with you if you have a stand different from hers. It takes a man who is ready for war to confront the corrupt practices the society
- Satan : The archfiend hasn't gone to rest. He is still fervent in the ministry of attacking the Christians and bringing them down. So, Christians need to take their stand as a man of war.

"There is danger in being caught at an unguarded moment. Therefore, take your stand always as a man of war"

PROVERBS DAILY

An aura of peace with little substance favours long-life than an atmosphere of bounties with unrest mind

Saturday 16 September 2017

STAND FAST; STAND IN LOVE AND BE LOYAL

STAND FAST; STAND IN LOVE AND BE LOYAL

You have to try your level-best to be loyal and loving. Knowing fully well that the attacker will never cease to attack and the critics will grow worse and worse in criticism. Even at this moment, you still have to stand loyal to God and man (provided it won't cost you a shift from position in faith). At the same time, you should continue to show love to people around. Especially to the lost sheep who must be brought back to the fold as the close of the approaches.
Your steadfastness in allegiance to the duty and task that the master has committed into your hands will make you not to loose focus. You must also show unwavering devotion to Jesus, as a friend and Lord. This will make you stand remain firmer

"A double standard life is tantamount to disloyalty. Stand out in unwavering conviction and devotion with God"

PROVERBS DAILY

"When you stand, He'll standby you
When you move, He'll back you up
When you hold on, He'll uphold you"
Don't leave everything to God, He is always ready to play His part once you play your part.

Friday 15 September 2017

STAND FAST; STAND AND BE KEEN-SIGHTED

STAND FAST; STAND AND BE KEEN-SIGHTED

The ability to see far to detect preys and predators is a unique feature of the Eagle. Thus to be keen-sighted is synonymous to being eagle-eyed. This characteristic mustn't be wanting in the life of a defender of faith. Apart from being able to see the predators (Satan and his cohorts) from afar, you should be able to pull out some who are already preys in the hands of the enemy.
These people really need help. They have been made prey in the devil's Kingdom and only him who is standing fast can reach out to them.

"While Standing fast, you can also search for prey and help them to be saved"

PROVERBS DAILY

The tone used in conversation matters a lot. Even when you are angered remember that cool word cools

Thursday 14 September 2017

STAND FAST; STAND JUST AND JUSTIFIED

STAND FAST; STAND JUST AND JUSTIFIED

The fact that you are to stand fast in the Lord is not an avenue to be unruly or suffer as an evil doer. Your lifestyle should be that, that someone can attest to. It must be a manner of living that the world can attest to as being just except in the matter of your dealings with God. If there be any other occasion leveled up against you and you be guilty, then the ground you're standing is not and can never be where you can stand fast.
If you are found guiltless in your dealings with man, God must always have His own record about you that you are justified too. This combination will perfectly allow you produce an unflinching stand in the cause of righteousness. Because humanity have pronounced you guiltless and divinity attest to your justification also.

"Your accusers might have occasion against you as regards your dealings with God but never let them have any other means of proving you wrong"

PROVERBS DAILY

A house that will stand the test of time must be built on a solid foundation. It is wisdom for a woman to take into consideration the foundation of her home. It is goodly only when it is godly

Wednesday 13 September 2017

STAND FAST; STAND INTELLIGENTLY AND INTELLECTUALLY YET IMMOVABLE

STAND FAST; STAND INTELLIGENTLY AND INTELLECTUALLY YET IMMOVABLE

Intelligence is required and also it is expedient to be intellectually sound while standing fast in the faith. You should be involved in intelligence activity to gather secret information about our enemy (the devil) or potential enemy. Don't be caught in the snare of the devil nor be entangled in his devices. The roaring lion is still very much active in his duty. An intelligent Christian will know that it will be dangerous to sleep at any time. So also, it is deadly to be caught in an unguarded moment.
As you try to gather information about this arch-fiend, don't forget that you are still supposed to maintain your stance, immoveable. This immovability, means the wind of false doctrine won't change your correct conviction; prevailing lying wonders will not make you wander out of the wonder of all wonders (salvation). You have to stand fast and be immovable.

"Most world intellectuals have be derailed from the position of standing fast. Will you also go away?"

PROVERBS DAILY

You are the major determinant of what you reap. Don't expect a good fruit after sowing the seed of transgression

Tuesday 12 September 2017

STAND FAST; STAND TO BE A HERO OR HEROINE

STAND FAST; STAND TO BE A HERO OR HEROINE

To be a hero or heroine, such a one must have displayed an exceptional nobility, courage and strength. The heroes of faith in the Bible days didn't have to do things the way other men did it. The heroines dared authorities that could lead to the termination of their lives. Many defied King's words because they know they have the backing of the king of kings.
The world will be forced to remember and inscribe your name on brass for standing fast and firm for the faith once delivered for the saints. It might look so unbearable at first, but the hero won't be told he will be a hero neither will the heroine be announced until the cause is successfully defended.
You've got to fight, until the battle is won
You've got to shine, until the whole world is lightened
You've got to hold untiringly, until you are announced a champion.

"A hero and a heroine who is to be recognised in heaven must be ready to help hold the banner of holiness high and not even the hem of his cloth stained with sin in the course of that"

1. TRUE FREEDOM, DISCIPLESHIP AND STEADFASTNESS WITH THE SON
John 8:31,32; Acts 13:43; 14:22; I Timothy 2:15; 4:15,16
It is not enough to hear the word of God daily but that we remain in it. In remaining in it, it must be that:
>Your conscience remains tender and impressed by the word of God
>Your obedience is unquestionable
>Your life becomes purposeful
II Timothy 3:12-14
The continuation on staying in the word brings about advancement in knowledge and freedom (John 8:32,36). The freedom is from sin Romans 6:18, 22; 8:1,2

2. THE FALSEHOOD AND DELUSION OF THE SERVANT OF SIN
John 8:33;
They (the Pharisees) said they were never in bondage of which they have been and were still in bondage - Genesis 15:13; Exodus 1:13,14; Deuteronomy 26:6; Luke 23:1,2; Acts 17:7
John 8:34 - Our title in the church doesn't tske us to heaven. Whosoever is living in sin is a servant of sin. Acts 8:23; II Peter 2:19

- Cause of their damnation - John 8:45-47

PROVERBS DAILY

Derailing from a given instruction brings about chastisement. Hating chastisement even after derailing equates such a one to a beast

Monday 11 September 2017

PROVERBS DAILY

In dealing with any kind of measurements, be careful to be honest because dishonesty in this is a displeasure to God

STAND FAST; STAND GODLY AND GOODLY

STAND FAST; STAND GODLY AND GOODLY
If at any time your goodliness is not of godliness your standing is not good. There is a way he that is standing fast and firm for righteousness measures his goodly deeds. It is totally different from the way the world does. It must have tested positive to the litmus test of God's word.
Any of your giving is not good when is not godly. This is because it must have cost you your good stand in the faith and for the faith. As much as you try to be reckoned with as a goodly person it must not take priority over your being recognised as a goodly person. Your stance in the defence of the truth must not at any point in time be cheaply suppressed because you want to appear good to people around

"Here is the landmark, the good must be of God to be counted as goodliness for who is standing for godliness"

PROVERBS DAILY

In dealing with any kind of measurements, be careful to be honest because dishonesty in this is a displeasure to God

Sunday 10 September 2017

STAND FAST; STAND FIRM & FULL

STAND FAST; STAND FIRM & FULL

The characteristics of being:
'Unbendable in contest
Unshakeable among corrupters
Unfaltering in conversation
Uncompromising even in conquistadors'
Makes you a firm Christian who is standing firm in the truth.
You became firmer when you are full.
- Full of strong faith not ridiculous as some weaklings
- Full of the scriptures not like rudderless readers
- Full of the Spirit not rattling with words like some people do

"In your fullness you become firmer, get filled everyday. Don't be myopic because there is room for overflowing"

PROVERBS DAILY

Living righteously does not only deliver from eternal death, it also delivers from earthly death. Let your treasure be that of RIGHTEOUSNESS

Saturday 9 September 2017

PROVERBS DAILY

Two routes exist and end at two different destinations. You want LIFE? Follow the way of the WISE. If you follow the way of the FOOLS, you'll end in DESTRUCTION

Friday 8 September 2017

STAND FAST; STAND AND BE EXEMPTED FROM EXCESSES

STAND FAST; STAND AND BE EXEMPTED FROM EXCESSES

The athlete (runner) who will run fast and would not want to be held down with unnecessary body weight due to fat must be ready to be exempted from excesses. You as a Christian have got to put your body under subjection. You cannot eat all what every other person(s)  will eat. Neither should you be where other person(s) who does not have the conviction that you have.
Don't get yourself obsessed with the possessions of excessive earthly (but ephemeral) things to the extent that you loose your stand in Christ.
There should be clear-cut limit for you as a Christian on what you want, do, eat and the likes.
If you do all the world do;
If you eat all they eat;
If you go everywhere they go;
If you accommodate all they accommodate;
If your appearance isn't different from theirs;
If your speech is same as theirs;
Then you are going nowhere different from theirs

"As the athlete can't afford to loose the gold medal because of an additional weight neither should you loose your stand because of excessive accruement of the non-essentials "

PROVERBS DAILY

The cry of wisdom is not in the shedding of tears neither the loud voice of understanding to create fear. It is because the need for wisdom and understanding increases day by day and human beings tends to overlook this necessity. Only few could recognize the voice

PROVERBS DAILY

Apart from learning God's words, create a space in your heart where you should be storing them. Keep them as rare treasures.

STAND FAST; STAND DETERMINED AND DEDICATED

STAND FAST; STAND DETERMINED AND DEDICATED

Standing fast is not a thing of joke or play. To stand fast in this context means you are not ready to abandon your faith. Then, you will back up your stand with full determination never to loosen up. This determination goes hand-in-hand with dedication to do things that will have you continuously stand for the right path that you have chosen. You don't choose to stand and doubt, no because you are determined. You don't choose to stand and display unseriousness with the thing that will help you not to loose your grip on the truth.
Jesus comment on the needful thing which Mary hath chosen was concluded with "which shall not be taken away from her" (Luke 10:42). This is because it was evidently seen in her that her mind is made up.

"A man who is determined and dedicated to continuously stand fast is left unperturbed by the happenings all around. Not because they don't want to but because to him, they do not worth it"

It is better to have your hearts filled with words than to have your mouth filled with words. While the words are still in your heart ruminate on it before it get to your mouth. You will be held responsible once you spew words out of your mouth

CHRIST'S PASSIONATE DESIRE FOR OUR STEADY GROWTH

TUESDAY LEADERS DEVELOPMENT
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON SEPTEMBER 5, 2017

CHRIST'S PASSIONATE DESIRE FOR OUR STEADY GROWTH
I Peter 2:2; Isaiah 53:11; Ephesians 4:11-15

When converts obey the Lord, it brings joy and satisfaction to Him. God has raised us up so that we can minister to the converts to make them strong. This is important because there could be a Paul that has just been converted that needs our help.
We are to teach and train them in the way they should go and grow in.
The aim of the growth is the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ
II Peter 3:17,18
Growth causes joy in heaven and on earth. Angels even rejoice for repentance and salvation of sins. Since we are not exactly like Christ, then there is need for growth

1. THE FOOD FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN THE MINISTRY
2. THE FAITH FOR THE SOARING GROWTH OF MINISTERS
3. THE FRUITS OF SUSTAINED GROWTH TOWARDS MATURITY

1. THE FOOD FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN THE MINISTRY
I Peter 2:1,2
Food and water are necessary for our physical growth, health, concentration, happiness. They are necessary beyond description for life in its fullness. Food here is referring to balance diet (not poisonous) and clean water (not contaminated). If we are going to go, we are to listen to the balanced doctrine form the word of God.
Matthew 4:4, Deuteronomy 8:3; Job 23:12; Jeremiah 3:15; Proverbs 19:2; Jeremiah 23:4; Acts 20:28,32

2. THE FAITH FOR THE SOARING GROWTH OF MINISTERS
II Thessalonians 1:3; Hebrews 11:6-10,17
Talking about growing faith means
_Saved by faith: Ephesians 2:8;
_Justified by faith: Romans 5:1,2;
_Live by faith: Hebrews 10:38,39;
_Healed by faith: Acts 3:16
_Sanctified by faith: Acts 26:18
_Overcoming by faith: I John 5:4
_Walking by faith: II Corinthians 5:7;
_Steadfast in faith: I Corinthians 16:13; I Peter 5:8

3. THE FRUITS OF SUSTAINED GROWTH TOWARDS MATURITY
Ephesians 4:13; II Peter 3:18
The fruits are sustained by
_growth in unity : Ephesians 4:3; I Corinthians 1:10
_growth in faith : Ephesians 4:13; Hebrews 4:2
_growth in knowledge II Peter 3:18; 1:3,4
_growth in grace II Peter 3:18; II Corinthians 12:9; Hebrews 4:16

THE LIBERATING TRUTHS OF CHRIST, THE LIGHT

MONDAY BIBLE STUDY
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON SEPTEMBER 4, 2017
BIBLE READING: II KINGS 17

THE LIBERATING TRUTHS OF CHRIST, THE LIGHT
John 8:12-30
Matthew 13:14,15 Acts 7:25. The deliverer was around but they were still suffering because of lack of understanding. They referred to His speech as being erroneous - II Peter 2:12,17
They converse with Jesus but were not converted by Jesus. This happens when one comes with a kind of heart hardened and darkened unwilling to yield to God.
Acts 7:51. The Pharisees will not miss the preaching points and places of Jesus but their hearts rebelled against the truth, heaven, their own eternal salvation. They use their religion to work against themselves. They use their evil intentions against themselves.

1. WALKING IN THE LIGHT OF THE SAVING TRUTH
2. WARNING FOR THE LOST WITHOUT HIS SAVING TRUTH
3. WORTHINESS OF THE LORD OUR SUSTAINING TRUTH

1. WALKING IN THE LIGHT OF THE SAVING TRUTH
John 8:12-18
Just as anyone can talk about his/her profession, Jesus also said "I am the light". But this made the Pharisees stood in opposition of him that his record about himself isn't true. He clarified it in verses 17 & 18. Other records has been given by John the baptist in John 1:9 and some in Matthew 4:16,17; Malachi 4:2
We are to separate ourselves from these doubters and argumentatives. John 8:12; 12:35,46; Ephesians 5:8-11,14; Romans 13:11-14

2. WARNING FOR THE LOST WITHOUT HIS SAVING TRUTH
John 8:19-27
Jesus warned them of perishing; He warned them of missing heaven; He warned them of damning their soul John 8:21,22. His warning was clear and pointedly. Verse 44.
They understood earthly matters but didn't understand essentially eternal truths. All knowledge will fail on the last day if one does not have the  knowledge of Salvation. The knowledge of who Jesus is, as He that takes away sin, brought about redemption and as He which will take us to heaven is what is most needful. John 7:34; 3:18,36; Hebrews 2:1
We are to give earnest heed to the message of salvation, Sanctification, making our ways right, the word of God that we are hearing.
Hebrews 10:26-31. The Pharisees knew that this is the Redeemer and they willfully rejected Him. Many of the Scribes and Pharisees died without salvation.

3. THE WORTHINESS OF THE LORD OUR SUSTAINING TRUTH
John 8:28-30; 12:32-36; 8:28; 5:19,30; 6:38; 12:49; Matthew 3:17; Hebrews 11:5
You must live a life that is so clear that God can testify to just as God testified to in Matthew 3:17.
Christ is the Saviour, Sanctifier, Redeemer and has been revealed
John 8:30. He is the worthy, so:
_Acknowledged Him
_Believe Him
_Receive Him
_Confess Him
_Obey Him
_Live for Him
_Follow Him until the end
"I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back"
John 14:1-3; 17:24.
The Light has been revealed, we are to walk in the Light

STAND FAST; STAND WITH CORRECT CONVICTION

STAND FAST; STAND WITH CORRECT CONVICTION

A man who is standing fast on a wrong conviction is like a bicycle rider who thinks he can successfully ride safely to his destination looking elsewhere while riding. It would have been better for the rider not to have set out on the journey because he is exposing himself to several dangers on the road. If he continues in that manner, he will soon be badly injured or lost his life.
Dare to stand? Stand on the correct conviction. Don't be carried away with the multitudes. A man with God is of a strength incomparable to battalions of armed forces.
If you are standing for God, be convinced that you cannot accommodate not excuse sin in anyway.

"Don't think of carrying the Holy God in your partly stained heart, He won't inhabit it. He needs you to be comfortable and stay with sinlessness"
