MONTH OF SEPTEMBER

At the end of the ninth month, a pregnant woman is meant to bring forth the foetus she has kept in her womb all the while. Your September will be for manifestation in Jesus name.

STAND FAST; STAND BOLD AND BE BRAVE

STAND FAST; STAND BOLD AND BE BRAVE

He who is ready to stand for Christ must be fearless and daring. You'll not be afraid of the devil's threatenings nor fidget when the world is raising uproar against you. You are ready to stand eyeball to eyeball to make known to the world that you have not followed cunningly devised fables.
This is because he that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. You've got to stand, stand bold and be brave.
This boldness should be clearly seen on your face. You should be known for bravery in your gait. Your unwillingness to bow for something lower than your conviction will distinguish you from the mixed multitude. Dare to be the man or woman who refuse to be identified with Christ in shame and timidity.

"The world respect the man whose boldness and invulnerable to intimidation is unique. It means to them that you've got the right thing and you are not ready to let it off"

The Father is involve in preaching the gospel. The Son is involved so also is God the Spirit involved.
_Faithfulness is rewardable and unfaithfulness is punishable
_Commitment is rewardable and carelessness is punishable

1. THE PREEMINENT COMPASSION OF GOD THE FATHER
2. THE PREDOMINANT COMMISSION BY GOD THE SON
3. THE PREVAILING CONFIRMATION OF GOD THE HOLY GHOST

1. THE PREEMINENT COMPASSION OF GOD THE FATHER
II Peter 3:9; I John 4:14
Left to the Father, He'll take everyone to heaven but man has been made to have a choice. That was why He sent Christ to die for the sin of the whole world. So that we all can make it to heaven. God is telling us to prevail on our neighbours with love and turn them toward God, heaven and toward light
John 3:16 - this explained the preeminent action of God. His love was a passionate one that He gave His best (Christ) in heaven. His heart, His love, His mercy, His heaven is large enough to take everyone. The world was condemnable and still condemnable but His door of mercy is opened to all to be saved. He want this compassion to be preeminent in our lives.
Acts 3:26; 15:7,14-18; Galatians 1:15,16; I Corinthians 9:16,17,19-22; Romans 1:1,16; I Thessalonians 2:4
"I must obey God"

Matthew 28:18; 24:12-14; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:45-48; Acts 5:27-35; 18:9-11
This is the Supreme responsibility of the whole church to:
_Reach the unreached
_Seek the unsought
_Snatch them from Satan
_Deliver them from death and hell
_Go after the godless
_Pursue them and let them not perish
_Preach to them
_Pray for them
_Plead with them
_Persuade them
_Prevail on them until they yield
_Prevent them from hell
_Preserve them for heaven
This assignment is more important than gaining the whole world

3. THE PREVAILING CONFIRMATION OF GOD THE HOLY GHOST
Acts 13:2-4; Mark 13:10,11; Luke 12:11,12; Acts 4:8-12,31; 13:6-12.

THE SHINNING LIGHT OF THE SAVIOUR’S WISDOM

MONDAY BIBLE STUDY MESSAGE
ON 280817
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI

THE SHINNING LIGHT OF THE SAVIOUR’S WISDOM
John 8:1-11

He went to the Mount for:
*solitude
*meditation
*inventory
*prayer
*renewal
*reflection
*refreshing
"we must always find time to recharge our batteries". So also is our lives, we have to charge our batteries constantly else we become dull, dreary and finally dead
Luke 21:36-38; 19:47; Acts 5:19-21,42

From this study, we see Jesus turned
*rude interruption to divine intervention
*condemnation to conversion (positive construction)
"As though He heard them not"- it is not everything you hear that you talk on otherwise you'll have your life choked up

1. A WICKED ATTEMPT TO CONFOUND THE SAVIOUR
2. HIS WISE ANSWER TO. CONVICT THE SCHEMERS
3. THE WONDERFUL ASSURANCE FOR CONVERTED SOULS

1. A WICKED ATTEMPT TO CONFOUND THE SAVIOUR
John 8:1-5
The Pharisees were not good people. They were asking the question to discredit and condemn Jesus (verses 4,6)
Be very careful with people that come to flatter you, they are throwing the bait just to catch you
John 18:31; Acts 6:11
Considering the Pharisees and their deeds: Matthew 12:14; 16:1,4,6; Mark 10:2; 11:17,18; 12:13-17.
Jesus overcame all the attempts of the Pharisees every time

2. HIS WISE ANSWER TO CONVICT THE SCHEMERS
John 8:6-9

-wise action: He heard but was quiet and acted as though He never heard. In triumphant quietness the Pharisees saw that he is not fearful, furious nor fretting.
-wise approach: He diverted their attention from the woman to themselves. This approach destabilized
-wise attitude: He was peaceful and poised. This gave the assurance to those who are learning the heavenly truth from him as Master
-wise answer: His answer shut them up and they could say anything further. It brought undeniable conviction upon them.
- wise admonition: His wise admonition confirmed his teaching and serves as warning as we approach the judgement day
John 8:6; Psalm 38:12-14; 39:1,2; Ezekiel 3:26,27; John 8:7,8; Job 34:21
"take your time and be quiet when they are putting pressure on you, that time of quietness will keep you from saying something unprofitable and help you speak the needful"
Psalms 44:20,21; 139:1-12
Sinners accusing another sinner even unto death, what hypocrisy is that? Romans 2:1-3; I John 3:20
Matthew 7:1,2

3. THE WONDERFUL ASSURANCE FOR CONVERTED SOULS
John 8:10,11

John 8:11 (KJV)  "Neither do I condemn thee:" - Jesus Christ wasn't saying that sin is not condemned, of course adultery is condemned, fornication is condemned, and all other sin is condemned. Only that she as a person is not condemned to death but grace is available to free her. He continued "go, and sin no more" John 3:17; Romans 8:1,2; John 8:11; 5:14; Romans 6:1,6,11,12,18,22; Ephesians 4:22,24,25,28; I Peter 2:1-3

THE DIVINE CHARGE FOR ALL MINISTERS OF CHRIST

TUESDAY LEADERS DEVELOPMENT

BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI

THE DIVINE CHARGE FOR ALL MINISTERS OF CHRIST
II Timothy 4:1-5; I Timothy 5:21
The Christian ministry is a Solemn ministry. A serious charge and solemn charge that is made before the God of heaven.
God is watching us and checking If we are doing the work:
- Faultlessly
- Freely
- Faithfully
- Fearlessly
- Fervently
- Fruitfully
On the other hand, God is watching us if we are doing it:
If we are doing it
- Feebly
- Faintly
- Fleshly
- Falsely
- Fraudulently
- Flippantly or frivolously
- Forgetfully
I Corinthians 4:1,2; II Timothy 4

1. THE CHARGE BEFORE THE FAITHFUL IMPARTIAL JUDGE
2. THE CERTAINTY OF THE FINAL IMMINENT JUDGMENT
3.  THE CHALLENGE OF FULLY-FOLLOWING THE INCORRUPTIBLE JUST ONE

We are to preach the whole word both in season and out of season
The charge is:
- Concise
- Clear
- Compelling
The charge is like
Student charge: the main objective is to go and learn not to focus on extracurricular activities. On the final day of judgment all extracurricular activities will never come into consideration
Soldier's charge:

2. THE CERTAINTY OF THE FINAL IMMINENT JUDGMENT
This judgement isn't too far away. Even before rapture, people who have finished their work have had to go.
II Timothy 4:1; Hebrews 9:27
Everybody knows there is death it is only that you may not know the exact day
Romans 2:5,6,16
People don't like thinking about the final day the same way the students don't like about examination day.

THE BELIEVER'S WISDOM AND SECURITY IN THE LAST DAYS
II Timothy 3:1-3,5,7,14-17
There are so many people that live their lives as if the world will never come to an end. Before the world comes to an end is the last days
I Timothy 4:1,2; II Peter 3:3-5; I John 2:18
We are living in the very last moments of the last days. Just as Lot lived in the last days of Sodom and Gomorrah
Revelation 12:12
Deuteronomy 4:2,4-6

1. THE CHARACTERISTICS OF TRANSGRESSOR'S LIFE IN THESE LAST DAYS
2. THE CORNERSTO OF TRANSFORMED LIVES IN THESE LUSTFUL / LICENTIOUS DAYS
3. OUR CONSECRATION WITH TRIUMPHANT LOYALTY IN THESE LUKEWARM / LAODICEAN DAYS

1. THE CHARACTERISTICS OF TRANSGRESSORS LIFE IN THESE LAST DAYS
II Timothy 3:1-5; Philippians 2:21
These characteristics are:
1. Lovers of self - II Timothy 3:Philippians 2:21
2. Lovers of pleasure - II Timothy 3:4; Isaiah 47:8; I Timothy 5:6
3. Lovers of money - I Timothy 6:9-11; Micah 3:11; Luke 22:3-5
4. Lovers of the world - I John 2:15-17; James 4:4; II Timothy 4:10
5. Lovers of darkness - John 3:18-20; II Thessalonians 2:10-12
6. Lovers of strange women - I Kings 11:1-9; Nehemiah 13:26
7. Lovers of violence - Psalm 11:3-5; 52:3-5
John 4:30

2. THE CORNERSTONE OF TRANSFORMED LIVES IN THESE LUSTFUL / LICENTIOUS
II Timothy 3:1-9;
Those things that Christ our cornerstone has done for us:
1. Saves us -  Matthew 1:21; I John 3:1-9; 5:18
2. Sanctifies us - Hebrews 2:11; 13:12-14; I Thessalonians 5:22-24
3. Baptizes us with Holy Ghost and fire - Acts 1:4-8

3. OUR CONSECRATION WITH TRIUMPHANT LOYALTY IN THESE LUKEWARM / LAODICEAN DAYS
II Timothy 3:5,7,10,11; 4:18
Some churches in the world today are just like the Laodicean Church in Revelation 3:15-18; Matthew 24:11-13; Luke 17:28,32
Remember Lot's wife:
She came out but didn't get to the flavoured fullness of God. She was lost. May you not be lost.
I Corinthians 3:18a; Ephesians 5:6; II Thessalonians 2:3a. In this last days there will be people that will try to deceive.
I Thessalonians 5:1-6
You must make up your mind - Daniel 1:8; Hebrews 12:1,2,4,14-17,28,29
It is like the:
_Last days of a student
_Last days of a soldier
_Last day of a sailor
Last days for servant of God. We must not fail. We must not fall.
Stand fast and occupy till the end and nobody will take your crown

STAND FAST; STAND ARIGHT, BE ALRIGHT AND ALERT

Stand fast; stand aright, be alright and alert

Yes, you have to stand but you've got to stand aright. You must be very sure of what you are standing for and that you are on the right track. Take your position and stand. It is also worthy of note to be sure you are alright and at the same time alert. You must be alright even if you are standing aright by constantly checking up on your self. Check on where you stood yesterday as regards the truth. You can be standing aright and you may not be alright. If you are shifting ground on the truth, then it means you are not alright with where you are standing. This is also why you need to be at alert so that you don't wander outside the circumference of the truth and become an object of ridicule. You must also be alert always to avoid being struck by the attackers (the devil and his agents)

"So, you must be alert to constantly verify if you are alright because you can stand aright and your standing might not be alright"

Tuesday 29 August 2017

STAND FAST

STAND FAST THEREFORE

Stand fast stand aright and be alright and alert:
Stand fast stand bold and be brave
Stand fast stand with correct conviction
Stand fast stand determined and dedicated
Stand fast and be exempted from excesses
Stand fast stand firm and full
Stand fast stand godly and goodly
Stand fast stand to be a hero or heroine
Stand fast stand intelligently and intellectually yet immoveable

Stand fast stand like a "man of war"
Stand fast stand don't be nervous nor nerdy

"SO TEACH US TO NUMBER OUR DAYS" - 3

Understanding the right way to birthday celebrations

Our days must be numbered to avoid misunderstanding God's plan and to also avoid misappropriating the resources God has made available to us.
So teach us to number our days is a request from a heart broken for God and does not want to be guilty of living in time. Christians are to have the right perspective to birthday and other time-related celebrations.
So in celebrating your birthday, number the days:

-Preciously: Know that you don't have right to witness any day. So appreciate the opportunity to see each day and handle it preciously. It should be celebrated with a heart of gratitude to God. Firstly, for the gift of life and then for the achievements made so far

-Persistently: It is not only the day that you were born that you are to remember. Make it a consistent and persistent in that you make it a day to put a check and balance on how preceding years has been.

-Painstakingly: Give attention to details of life. Remember to do a little thinking on cogent issues of life. Ruminate on how your life has been spent thus far and think through on how the new year will be

-Penitently: There should be a show of remorse on anything you have done wrong in the past days (or years). And steps must be taken to make necessary corrections and adjustments

-Purifyingly: Where there have been records of spiritual stains and integrity betrayal or compromise to do wrong. You should not hesitate to go to God for reconciliation and to men for restitution

-Patiently & Perseveringly: You must not be disturbed with occurrences here and there. When expectations are not met, it should not bring about anxiety or fear but should patiently in prayer hope on God. When you are operating in the realm of faith, things don't bother you because your trust is in God. In patience and perseverance, you'll get that which is meant for you.

-Periodically: the day you are born is not to be forgotten. It should be remembered year after year

-Precisely: Your age at each point should be precisely noted and compared with what progress you are making. Check on how exact you are in the will of God. At your age, how productive and how proactive have you been? Be precise in numbering your days. Also, try to set goals for the forthcoming or subsequent celebrations

-Profitably: In numbering your days, you should be able to consider how fruitful you have been. Check up on how well you have impacted lives for God. Can you be said to have been useful to your family, friends or society? Number your days profitably

-Preaching: Knowing the brevity of life, opportunity to live or celebrate additional year on earth will be of eternal value if it can be used to populate heaven. Nothing stops you from organising personal evangelistic outreaches to mark your day.

-Prayerfully: Prayer is key in numbering your days. Whether things are going on well or there be lapses, prayer is needed. The man of prayer sets things aright and things fall in place for him. Prayer will put the errors of the past off and put the expectations of the future into realisation. Don't forget to pray for your future on any birthday you are celebrating.

"SO TEACH US TO NUMBER OUR DAYS" - 2

Understanding the reason for "birthdays"

Living on this side of eternity is but for specified and short period of time. The duration of our existence here (in time) is known to God even from the moment we came to this world. It is now wisdom on our path to number these days so that we can make our living on this earth count for eternity.
Our days here on earth are not meant to be spent in frivolities nor superfluity of naughtiness. It is a period where we can make a decision that will affect our eternity.
Believers therefore need to understand some realities about the numbering their days. A believer is not only meant to annually number the day that he was born. He is also to live and consider the days that we are in.
Therefore, a believer is to number his days to:
-appreciate God's goodness
-access his faithfulness to God
-align his life in accordance to God's will
-bring him closer to God
-revisit calvary if need be
-remind him that he is a pilgrim here
-re-ignite his passion for soul-winning
-remember how short his days are
-re-awaken him in case of spiritual slumber
-ignite the watchfulness spirit as we are approach the end of time
-make him (if young) to be prepared for the days ahead
-make sure as a youth, that he uses his energy aright
-make him (if old) to be prepared for the grave
-remind him of the signs of the last days
-make him (as a parent) to remind his children to follow after God
-know that he is each year closer to his dreams and destiny
-not also forget that as each day passes by, he is a day closer to the grave
