THE TRUE MARKS OF CHRIST'S SERVANTS

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON NOVEMBER 5, 2017

THE TRUE MARKS OF CHRIST'S SERVANTS
Titus 2:9,10
Before conversion, regeneration and salvation, all men were servants of sin. John 8:34; Romans 6:17,18; II Peter 2:19; Romans 6:22; Ephesians 6:5-7
I Peter 2:12-16

1. THE FAITH AND THE FAITHFULNESS OF CHRIST'S CONVERTED SERVANTS
2. THE FRUIT AND THE FRUITFULNESS OF CHRIST'S COMMITTED SERVANTS
3. THE FULFILMENT AND THE FUTURE OF CHRIST'S CIRCUMCISED SERVANTS

1. THE FAITH AND THE FAITHFULNESS OF CHRIST'S CONVERTED SERVANTS

True servants of Christ are characterised by faith, obedience and faithfulness to God. And submit to God as Lord and master
Hebrews 11:6,8,27; Faith is the foundation of Christian experience. Faith first, before forsaking sin and following Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-10; Acts 15:9; Galatians 2:20
There is faith and there is faithfulness. You must stand solidly on faith before faithfulness; you must be established in faith before faithfulness. Without faith there is no faithfulness.
God expects:
_Faithfulness in little and big things
_Faithfulness in the secular and spiritual matters
_Faithfulness in the public office and private engagement
_Faithfulness in marriage and family
_Faithfulness in money matters and business dealings
_Faithfulness in paying debts and rents
_Faithfulness in fulfilling promise made to man and God
Psalm 12:1; 101:6,7; Proverbs 14:5; Daniel 6:4,20-22; Luke 16:10
Faithfulness is a scarce commodity which is hard to find.
I Corinthians 4:2

2. THE FRUIT AND THE FRUITFULNESS OF CHRIST'S COMMITTED SERVANTS
Romans 7:4;6:22; Galatians 5:22-26; Ephesians 5:9
Without the abiding presence of practical fruit, then there is no evidence that you are saved.
Matthew 7:16-20; John 15:1-7
_Fruit of character Hebrews 12:11-14
_Fruit of commission (service/soul winning) John 4:34-36
To be fruitful you must die to self John 12:24-26
Judges 9:10,11; Psalm 92:12-15

3. THE FULFILMENT AND THE FUTURE OF CHRIST'S CIRCUMCISED SERVANTS
Exodus 12:43,44,48; Genesis 17:1,10-14,24,27; Deuteronomy 30:6; Colossians 2:11; Acts 13:22; Galatians 1:10-12; Colossians 4:17

THE SALVATION AND THE SECURITY OF HIS SHEEP

MONDAY BIBLE STUDY
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON OCTOBER 30TH, 2017

THE SALVATION AND THE SECURITY OF HIS SHEEP
John 10:22-30
Here was the Shepherd yet they were not protected. Here was the Redeemer, yet they were bot saved. Here was the Savior but they belittled him and lost incalculable blessings. The failure for them to see was because of the blinding leading influence of their leaders. Those Jews could only think through the mind of the leaders that were hardened already.
So many still depend on some blind leaders to lead them even when they have the Bible

1. THE INESCAPABLE DAMNATION OF SKEPTICAL SINNERS
2. THE INCONTESTABLE DESCRIPTION OF THE SHEPHERD'S SHEEP
3. THE INESTIMABLE DECLARATION OF THE SAINT'S SECURITY

1. THE INESCAPABLE DAMNATION OF SKEPTICAL SINNERS
John 10:22-25
The people that already know that Jesus is Lord - John 1:41; 2:11; 3:2; 4:42; 5:32; 6:69;7:26,46; 8:30; 9:22,38; 10:42
?Who are those that made them to doubt? They were their leaders. These leaders are:
_Traditional leaders
_Place seeking leaders
_Religious leaders
_Hardened leaders
_Uncircumcised leaders
_Hypocritical leaders
John 1:19,29; 2:17; 3:25-30; 7:11-14; I Kings 2:18; Romans 2:3; Hebrews 2:3; Matthew 23:33

2. THE INCONTESTABLE DESCRIPTION OF THE SHEPHERD'S SHEEP
John 10:26,27
?Who are those referred to as the sheep of the Lord? These people have these characteristics:
_they hear Him John 10:27; 4:42; 5:24; 6:45
_believe on Him John 10:26; Mark 1:14,15
_known by Him John 10:27; Matthew 7:21; II Timothy 2:19
_follow him John 10:27b,4,5; 8:11,12; 12:26; Ephesians 5:1-4; I Peter 2:21

Following Christ makes us a recipient of great grand promises. At the entrance of the kingdom is the promise of salvation. The higher we aspire the more we benefit. Following on we discover sanctification, spirit baptism, peace, joy, and many more things. There is till a lot if you can continue.
In the other way round, there is GRACE at the entrance, as you move on there is GODLINESS and GIFT of the Holy Spirit

3. PROPER PRESERVATION 9F THE CRUSADE FRUITS

MAKING OUR CALLING AN ELECTION SURE

TUESDAY LEADERS DEVELOPMENT
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON OCTOBER 17, 2017

MAKING OUR CALLING AN ELECTION SURE
I Kings 13:1
The phrase "the man of God" appeared many times in I Kings 13. As in verses 1,4,7,8,11,12,14
The point is that this man was a real man of God. This phrase was used concerning Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Timothy and other respected man of God in the Bible
He was saved, committed, consecrated, uncompromising stand to God. But there came an avoidable temptation. The temptation wasn't that fierce.
He could have prayed about it but he didn't.
_His failure was unnecessary
_His action was regrettable
_And his end was sorrowful
A little compromise, a little deviation, a little fellowship with iniquity ruined his life
II Peter 1:10-12

1. THE CHARACTER AND THE COURAGE OF THE TRUE MINISTER
2. THE CONVICTION AND THE CONSECRATION OF A TRUSTWORTHY MINISTER
3. THE CONSTANCY AND THE CONSISTENCY OF A TENACIOUS MINSTER

1. THE CHARACTER AND THE COURAGE OF THE TRUE MINISTER
I Kings 13:1-6; II Peter 1:21; II Kings 4:9; Exodus 18:21; I Timothy 6:9-11; I Kings 21:17-29; Acts 4:19,20; 5:29; II Timothy 2:21,22; 3:14,15; II Corinthians 12:9; Hebrews 11:34
He courageously proclaim the word of God against the idolatry of Jeroboam as a true minister.

2. THE CONVICTION AND THE CONSECRATION OF A TRUSTWORTHY MINISTER
I Kings 13:7-9,17; Genesis 14:22,23
The man of God and the word of God are inseparable. He build his commitment on the word of God. He base his conviction on the word of God. Any conviction that is not based on the word of God is worthless. If it is going to be any worthy conviction, it must be based on the word of God.
Psalms 141:4; I Kings 22:14,22-28,37; Psalms 40:9,10; Acts 20:20,26,27; Deuteronomy 4:2-4; 12:32; Revelation 22:18,19

3. THE CONSTANCY AND THE CONSISTENCY OF A TENACIOUS MINSTER
I Kings 13:13-19,24; II Peter 3:17; I Kings 13:18
The first error - sitting when you are not yet home
The young prophet should have known that there are falling angels and there are good angels. God exalt His word more than his name - Psalms 138:2; 119:89; Isaiah 8:20;
One thing we must keep in mind is that: Angels do know every - Matthew 24:35,36; I Peter 1:8,10,12;
The fallen angels - II Corinthians 11:13-15; Matthew 25:41;
Galatians 1:6-8; Romans 8:38,39; I Peter 1:25

BELIEVING AND FOLLOWING THE TRUE SHEPHERD

MONDAY BIBLE STUDY
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON OCTOBER 16, 2017

BELIEVING AND FOLLOWING THE TRUE SHEPHERD
John 10:10

The heavenly Father, Almighty has promised His people shepherds that will lead them into the truth. They will teach them the word of God. Those who were prominent leaders in the new testament were the pharisees. They were oppressive and not feeding the people with the word of God.
The promise of God and the expectation of His people can be seen in Jeremiah 23:4. Comparing this with the Pharisees, we can see Isaiah 56:11. They didn't understand the provision that Jesus Christ has brought. The consequence of the fact the Pharisees and the Sadducees don't know that Christ has come to save His people is in Jeremiah 5:6. They forgot about heaven. They forgot about the promise land. They forgot about the promised resting place.
In the new testament, Matthew 9:36

1. THE DECEPTION AND DEADLINES OF TRESPASSING SHEPHERDS
2. THE DESCRIPTION AND DISTINCTIVENESS OF THE TRUE SHEPHERD
3. THE DESCRIPTION AND DEVOTEDNESS THE OF THE TRUSTING SHEEP

1. THE DECEPTION AND DEADLINES OF TRESPASSING SHEPHERDS
John 10:1,5,8,10,
Jesus described these shepherd as:
-Transgressing leaders
-Misleading guides
-Self appointed messiah
-Unconverted teachers
-Sinning ministers
-Deceivers and destroyer of soul
-Servant and messenger of Satan
These pharisees were: Proud, Unconverted and Incorrigible
The appearance of these pharisees were like that of the one spoken of in Jeremiah 23:1,16,21,32; Matthew 7:15-22; II Corinthians 11:13

2. THE DESCRIPTION AND DISTINCTIVENESS OF THE TRUE SHEPHERD
John 10:2-4,7; Genesis 49:22; Psalm 23:1-6; 80:1; Isaiah 40:10,11; Jeremiah 31:10,11,21; John 10:11,14; I Peter 2:24,25; Hebrews 13:20

3. THE DESCRIPTION AND DEVOTEDNESS THE OF THE TRUSTING SHEEP
We need to understand that if He is the Shepherd, we are the sheep. If he is the sanctifier, then we are the sanctified. If he is the Redeemer, we are the redeemed. If He is the baptizer in the Holy Ghost, then we are the baptized in the Holy Ghost. Whatever He is works in our lives.
John 10:2,3
All christians are sheep of his fold. What we learn about His sheep are:
- His sheep hear his voice (Call, Word) - John 10:3; 6:45
- The sheep enter the kingdom through the door - John 10:9; Matthew 7:13
- The sheep believe in the Lord and they are saved - John 10:26; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9,10
- The sheep does not listen to strangers - John 10:5,8; Hebrews 13:8,9
- The sheep follow Him - John 10:4; I Peter 2:21; Revelation 14:4
John 10:10; 20:31; 10:10; Galatians 2:20; Ephesians 3:20

THE STATE AND THE STANDING OF NEW MEN IN CHRIST

SATURDAY WORKERS TRAINING
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON OCTOBER 14, 2017

THE STATE AND THE STANDING OF NEW MEN IN CHRIST
II Corinthians 5:17; Deuteronomy 10:16; 30:6

All men without Christ has something missing which makes them unfit for the kingdom of God. He may be:
-Nice and kind
-Wild or Wonderful
-Sincere or sensual
-Cultured and refined
-Philanthropic
-Educated
-Well-behaved
-Church registered
-Baptized in water
-Church confirmed
-Humanitarian
If he does not have Christ, he has so much of the first man (Adam) in him. They are only fit for the world.
Only new men in Christ can be in the new heaven with God.
Christ must make you a new man before you can be fit for heaven
As a child needs to be born before circumcision, so also a man must be born again before circumcision (sanctification). As long as the first skin of the heart is still there, your love for God is still limited. Until there is circumcision of the heart, you cannot love God fully with your heart.
Ephesians 4:23,24; Colossians 3:1

1. THE INABILITY OF THE NATURAL MAN
2. THE IDENTITY OF THE NEW MAN
3. THE INTEGRITY OF NEWLY MADE MEN

1. THE INABILITY OF THE NATURAL MAN
-He may be well known
-He may be popular
-He may be wealthy; once he is a natural man his ability is restricted.
I Corinthians 2:14
The natural man has an inborn deformity which cannot be corrected or rectified by earthly means. Because he has an inherent stain, that tries to stain all he does.
-The natural man cannot please God. This is because the natural man is earthly but God is heavenly. Also, the natural man is sinful but God is Holy
-The natural man cannot fulfil God's demand. God's demand is high, holy and heavenly
-He cannot do God's will fully in God's own way. He doesn't have the
-He cannot walk without stumbling in God's way
-He cannot obey God perfectly as God expects. "An empty bag cannot stand erect". A natural man is empty of grace, virtue of heaven and everything that comes from God
-He cannot meet God high standard
-He cannot improve on the flesh for heaven. No matter education, reformation or religion, the flesh will still be flesh
Romans 8:6,7; 7:14-20
The old man cannot fulfill the law of the new covenant.
Jeremiah 6:10; 9:26; Ezekiel 15:7,9; Acts 7:51; Ezekiel 44:7,8; Ephesians 4:17-19

2. THE IDENTITY OF THE NEW MAN
Neither religion nor reformation can change the old nature into the new man. The power and wherewithal lies in the redemptive work of Christ at calvary
We cannot be sanctified before we are saved. You cannot give birth to yourself, so also you cannot save yourself by yourself. In the same way, as you cannot circumcise yourself so also can you not circumcise yourself.
Both the birth and circumcision are instantaneous acts not gradual processes. Salvation and sanctification are done instantaneously by Christ
II Corinthians 5:17,21; Galatians 2:20; Deuteronomy 30:6; 11:21; Jeremiah 4:4; Romans 2:29; Philippians 3:3; Colossians 2:11; II Peter 1:3,4; Hebrews 11:
It is necessary to be born again and circumcised. The Lucifer's nature cannot enter heaven again. His nature includes:
-pride
-self will
-usurping God's authority
-perverting God's work
-striving against God and his angels
-using his wisdom against God and lying against the word of God
The nature of Adam, Eve and that of Lucifer must be taken away

3. THE INTEGRITY OF NEWLY MADE MEN
Ephesians 4:24; Hebrews 8:10; Acts 24:16; II Peter 1:12; 3:11,

THE INCALCULABLE CONSEQUENCES OF A LEADER'S INFLUENCE

TUESDAY LEADERS DEVELOPMENT
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON OCTOBER 10, 2017

THE INCALCULABLE CONSEQUENCES OF A LEADER'S INFLUENCE
I Kings 12:1-3
This passage talked about three persons:
- Solomon
- Rehoboam
- Jeroboam
They were kings and leaders over Israel. The consequences of these people had long lasting effects. These people are:
- Solomon
- His son (Rehoboam)
- His servant (Jeroboam)
The consequent of one life over other people. The ongoing influence of one man over a nation.
Daniel 12:3; 8:10-12
The other side of the coin of Daniel 12:3 is that "They that turn many into unrighteousness shall suffer as fallen stars for ever and ever"
Malachi 2:8,9; Isaiah 9:16; Jeremiah 18:15; 23:14,15; Daniel 12:2

1. REHOBOAM: THE SON AND THE SORROW OF SOLOMON
2. JEROBOAM: THE SERVANT AND THE SCOURGE OF SOLOMON
3. JUDGEMENT: SUFFERING FOR SINNING SON AND SERVANT

1. REHOBOAM: THE SON AND THE SORROW OF SOLOMON
I Kings 11:43; 12:12-17; 14:21-22; 15:1-3,8,9; II Chronicles 15:2; 16:2-4,7-10,13
The kingdom that Solomon gathered broke in the hands of Rehoboam
The trend of kings in Israel after Solomon went from: Rehoboam - > Abijam - > Asa and the rest
II Kings 25:8-10,21
Solomon anticipated that his son will be a sorrow to him. Rehoboam lost every precious treasure that Solomon had made.
Proverbs 17:21,25; 19:13,26; 28:7; Ecclesiastics 2:17-20

2. JEROBOAM: THE SERVANT AND THE SCOURGE OF SOLOMON
I Kings 11:9-11,26-31,33,40; 12:20; Joshua 23:13
Jeroboam, Solomon servant was used as a scourge for Solomon. He too soon forgot and led Israel to sin. I Kings 11:35,37,38; 12:26-30
He couldn't remember that the word of God said thou shalt not worship Idol. It means Solomon didn't give priority to the word of God but was only given to building and executing projects.
I Kings 12:31; 13:33; II Kings 17:6-11,13,14,21-23
Israel under the perpetual evil of Jeroboam continued in sin until there was no remedy. Because of their influence, many suffered then; many are still suffering while many will still suffer

3. JUDGEMENT: SUFFERING FOR SINNING SON AND SERVANT
Amos 3:1,2; Jeremiah 9:25; Numbers 15:30; Hosea 9:9,15,17; Ecclesiastics 12:13,14; I Chronicles 28:9; Psalm 9:16,17; Isaiah 33:13,14; Matthew 11:23,24; Jude 1:7-13;
Here is the warning God is giving us now : Hebrews 10:26-31; 9:27

EXCEPTIONAL PROGRESS WITH THROUGH FREEDOM AND DIVINE WISDOM

SATURDAY'S WORKERS TRAINING
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2017

EXCEPTIONAL PROGRESS WITH THROUGH FREEDOM AND DIVINE WISDOM

John 8:32

Some kind of freedom cases talked about in the bible are mentioned in the passages below:
Matthew 17:24; I Samuel 17:25; Acts 22:25-28
Great advantages are attached to true freedom.

This freedom is the;
- Freedom of Stranger's limitations
- Freedom of Citizensip
- Freedom From Satan's Kingdom
- Freedom from Sin's dominion
- Freedom Of the son in the Lord
- Freedom Unprecedented

Peace of mind progress with peace of mind
Proverbs 6:1; 3:13-16; 4:5-7; 9:1,9-11; 14:1; 16:16; 19:8; 23:23; 31:26
Independence is not to be indifference
It is not to be free from what is good but to interact with what is good
Independent of evil, foreign powers and things that will bring us down. And our relationship with the God who gave us the freedom will bring about progress.

1. OUR PRAYERFUL EXPECTATIONS OF TOTAL FREEDOM AND DESIRABLE WISDOM
2. THE PAINFUL EXPERIENCE OF TRIVIAL FREEDOM AND DIVERTED WISDOM
3. THE POWERFUL EXPLOIT OF TRUE FREEDOM AND DIVINE WISDOM

1. OUR PRAYERFUL EXPECTATIONS OF TOTAL FREEDOM AND DESIRABLE WISDOM
John 8:32,36; Romans 6:1,18,22; Galatians 5:1
Having known so many things about who Christ is, you should answer this question: are you free?
If there is freedom and there is no freedom, it does not pay. Job 39:5,17,13-16;
The freedom of Joseph added to his wisdom made him who he became -Psalm 105:20-22
We need to add wisdom to the freedom to have the promised success
+Peace come through freedom
+Progress comes when wisdom is added to the freedom
Daniel 2:14,20-23

2. THE PAINFUL EXPERIENCE OF TRIVIAL FREEDOM AND DIVERTED WISDOM
Ecclesiastics 1:13-18; 2:3,9-11,15,17; 3:14,18-22; 4:13; 5:10-13; 6:6-9; 7:23-28; 8:9,10,16,17; 9:18; 10:5,6,15; 11:8; 12:1,7,13,14
Solomon was in a free country, number one citizen of the free nation; other nations were coming in. But Solomon's wisdom was diverted
Solomon diverted the wisdom that God gave him. He went after things that will not profit him. He led people astray from God.
In Solomon wisdom turned to foolishness. He was
- wise and weak
- wise and worldly
- wise and wanton (self indulgent)
- wise and wilful (God's servants could not reach him. He shielded himself away from the prophets)
- wise and wasteful (spent the Lord's money and the nation's resources on women)
- wise and worse (worse than the wandering wanderers in the wilderness)
- wise and wanting (on the long run, he was weighed and found wanting)

3. THE POWERFUL EXPLOIT OF TRUE FREEDOM AND DIVINE WISDOM

We must be free, remain free and wise. The first kind of freedom God wants us to think about is freedom from sin
Romans 6:7,18,22; I Peter 2:16; Deuteronomy 32:29; Job 28:12-18,20-28; Psalm 111:10; Proverbs 9:10; 15:33; I Corinthians 3:10,11

MONDAY BIBLE STUDY
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON SEPTEMBER 25, 2017

CHRIST'S POWER OVER SIN AND SUFFERING
John 9:1-12

The condition of the man born blind:
-Was a mystery unresolved
-Showed the Majesty of Christ in revelation
-Revealed the ingratitude of carnal natural usaved sinful men
-The blindness of Jewish leaders
-The beauty and benefits of solitary faith in Christ
-The courage of standing wlone without compromising with the blind Jewish leaders
What Jesus did then, He is still able to do today.
Psalm 146:8,9; Isaiah 42:19-21; Luke 7:21; Acts 26:18; II Corinthians 4:4; I John 2:11; Revelation 3:17

1. THE OPINION AND MANY FALLACIES IN THEIR CULTURE
2. THE OUTCOME OF MAN'S FOOLISHNESS AND CORRUPTION
3. THE OBEDIENCE OF MEANINGFUL FAITH IN CHRIST

1. THE OPINION AND MANY FALLACIES IN THEIR CULTURE
John 12:1-3

a_Fact - The man was born blind: John 12:1,20
Examples of some people that were born with defects from birth: Matthew 19:12,13; Acts 3:2; 14:8
A fact could have been noted that something has gone wrong but that is not the end of it.
b_Falacy - that he was born blind because of his sin: John 9:2
The Jewish people looked at some parts of the scriptures and misinterpreted them. Saying that it is possible for a child to be punished for the sin he has committed before he was born. Psalm 51:5; 58:3; Isaiah 48:8; Matthew 16:13
c_Falsehood - that he was born blind because of his parents' sin: John 9:2
This is also as a misinterpretation of some parts of the scriptures
Jeremiah 31:29; Lamentations 5:7; Ezekiel 18:1,2
Jesus says no to all the traditions and erroneous things John 9:3

2. THE OUTCOME OF MAN'S FOOLISHNESS AND CORRUPTION
John 5:14; Psalm 107:17; I Chronicles 21:8,7,14,17
a_ the outcome of sin on self: Micah 6:13; I Corinthians 11:29,30
b_ the outspread of sin in others: Genesis 12:14-17; 20:2-8,18; Jonah 1:1-4,15
c_ the outflow of sin into eternity: I Samuel 3:13; Psalm 92:6,7; Jude 1:12,13

3. THE OBEDIENCE OF MEANINGFUL FAITH IN CHRIST
John 9:4-12

a_ the occupation of the true Christ: John 4:34; Luke 19:13; Matthew 5:14-16
b_ the obedience for total cure: John 9:6,7
c_ the observation in the community: John 9:8-11
The obedience of total cure gave us an insight that it does not happen the same way every time. He did obeyed, washed and received his sight. He obedience was unique it was:
_obedience without complaints
_obedience without consultation
_obedience without companionship
_obedience without comparison
_obedience without contention (arguments)
_obedience without comprehension
_obedience before cure

THE CONSECRATION AND SANCTIFICATION OF GOD'S TEMPLE

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON SEPTEMBER 24, 2017
@ IBTC

THE CONSECRATION AND SANCTIFICATION OF GOD'S TEMPLE

II Chronicles 5:11-14
This happened at the time of dedication of the building of the temple that Solomon built. Solomon was so happy because God has chosen him and that at his time, the temple will be built. He prayed unto the Lord - II Chronicles 6:19-33. This prayer of Solomon is impressive and scriptural. God's response is instructive for Solomon, Israel and for the church today - II Chronicles 7:12-22.

1. THE PURPOSE AND THE SANCTITY OF GOD'S HOLY TEMPLE
2. THE PERIL OF SINFULNESS IN GOD HALLOWED TEMPLE
3. THE PRESERVATION OF SANCTIFICATION IN GOD'S HEAVENLY TEMPLE

1. THE PURPOSE AND THE SANCTITY OF GOD'S HOLY TEMPLE
Genesis 28:17-22; Jeremiah 36:5-7; Malachi 3:1-4; Isaiah 56:7; Matthew 21:12-14; Mark 12:35-37; 14:49; Luke 2:46; 19:47,48; 20:1; Acts 5:19-21,42
The temple was to remain holy and to be the sanctuary and habitation of God continually. The purpose is found in the very beginning in Genesis 28:17-22
The house of God is a place where we have:
-Revelation coming from heaven to earth
-Intercession moving from earth to God
-God gives directives and direction
-Make a vow and consecrate ourselves
-To read the word of God which reveals sin and backsliding

2. THE PERIL OF SINFULNESS IN GOD HALLOWED TEMPLE
I Kings 9:1-9; 11:1-11; Jeremiah 7:8-12,15; 23:11; II Chronicles 36:14; I Corinthians 3:16,17; Mark 7:20; Hebrews 12:14,15; James 3:5,6; I Peter 4:17-17; Revelation 21:27
Solomon soon forgot how he had prayed and dedicated the temple which he built. The children of Israel also went away from God's instructions.
They didn't consider the same effort in keeping the temple clean and holy as much as they did during the building
The body is meant to be kept clean and holy, free from sin to be habitable by God.
Th temple Solomon built was finally destroyed and may lost the opportunity of fellowshipping with God

3. THE PRESERVATION OF SANCTIFICATION IN GOD'S HEAVENLY TEMPLE
II Chronicles 29:5,6,15,16; Leviticus 20:7,8; I Peter 1:14-16; Luke 1:74,75; Matthew 5:6,8; Acts 15:9; II Timothy 2:21,22; Hebrews 13:12
God's nature is holiness and the mission of Christ here on earth is to make us holy. The Holy Spirit by His work demands holiness. The original creation demand holiness and sanctification. Christ the head of the church is holy and demands all of us to be holy. Heaven is also holy and if we must get there we must be holy. Two persons cannot walk together except there be an agreement
Psalm 24:3,4
You must get away from all sin before you can climb up unto the holy place of God. We are to:
pursue it
possess it
preserve it
preach it
publish it
publicise it
protect it
Hebrews 2:9; Psalm 93:5

TUESDAY LEADERS DEVELOPMENT
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON SEPTEMBER 19, 2017

THE PRESCRIBED SANCTIFICATION OF GOD'S HOLY TEMPLE
II Chronicles 29:5-8,10,11,15,16

The temple in Israel is divided into three parts:
-The outer court
-Inner court
-The holy of holies
God's habitation during the time of the children of Israel was a tabernacle and latter a specifically designed temple. It was to be the holiest and cleanest of all the houses in the land.
The ministers of God are to be holy because we represent God here on earth. In the new testament, believer are now the temple of God. The ministers who is keeping the house of God must be as holy as possible it is on this side of heaven.
II Timothy 2:21
The holiness of ministers of God is not to be compared to anyone but as holy as the blood of Jesus can; As holy as calvary can; As holy as the second work of grace can sanctify
Psalm 11:3,4; I Corinthians 3:16; 6:19,20; II Corinthians 6:16

>Your obedience is unquestionable
>Your life becomes purposeful

CHRIST'S PASSIONATE DESIRE FOR OUR STEADY GROWTH

TUESDAY LEADERS DEVELOPMENT
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON SEPTEMBER 5, 2017

CHRIST'S PASSIONATE DESIRE FOR OUR STEADY GROWTH
I Peter 2:2; Isaiah 53:11; Ephesians 4:11-15

When converts obey the Lord, it brings joy and satisfaction to Him. God has raised us up so that we can minister to the converts to make them strong. This is important because there could be a Paul that has just been converted that needs our help.
We are to teach and train them in the way they should go and grow in.
The aim of the growth is the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ
II Peter 3:17,18
Growth causes joy in heaven and on earth. Angels even rejoice for repentance and salvation of sins. Since we are not exactly like Christ, then there is need for growth

1. THE FOOD FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN THE MINISTRY
2. THE FAITH FOR THE SOARING GROWTH OF MINISTERS
3. THE FRUITS OF SUSTAINED GROWTH TOWARDS MATURITY

1. THE FOOD FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN THE MINISTRY
I Peter 2:1,2
Food and water are necessary for our physical growth, health, concentration, happiness. They are necessary beyond description for life in its fullness. Food here is referring to balance diet (not poisonous) and clean water (not contaminated). If we are going to go, we are to listen to the balanced doctrine form the word of God.
Matthew 4:4, Deuteronomy 8:3; Job 23:12; Jeremiah 3:15; Proverbs 19:2; Jeremiah 23:4; Acts 20:28,32

2. THE FAITH FOR THE SOARING GROWTH OF MINISTERS
II Thessalonians 1:3; Hebrews 11:6-10,17
Talking about growing faith means
_Saved by faith: Ephesians 2:8;
_Justified by faith: Romans 5:1,2;
_Live by faith: Hebrews 10:38,39;
_Healed by faith: Acts 3:16
_Sanctified by faith: Acts 26:18
_Overcoming by faith: I John 5:4
_Walking by faith: II Corinthians 5:7;
_Steadfast in faith: I Corinthians 16:13; I Peter 5:8

3. THE FRUITS OF SUSTAINED GROWTH TOWARDS MATURITY
Ephesians 4:13; II Peter 3:18
The fruits are sustained by
_growth in unity : Ephesians 4:3; I Corinthians 1:10
_growth in faith : Ephesians 4:13; Hebrews 4:2

THE LIBERATING TRUTHS OF CHRIST, THE LIGHT

MONDAY BIBLE STUDY
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI
ON SEPTEMBER 4, 2017
BIBLE READING: II KINGS 17

THE LIBERATING TRUTHS OF CHRIST, THE LIGHT
John 8:12-30
Matthew 13:14,15 Acts 7:25. The deliverer was around but they were still suffering because of lack of understanding. They referred to His speech as being erroneous - II Peter 2:12,17
They converse with Jesus but were not converted by Jesus. This happens when one comes with a kind of heart hardened and darkened unwilling to yield to God.
Acts 7:51. The Pharisees will not miss the preaching points and places of Jesus but their hearts rebelled against the truth, heaven, their own eternal salvation. They use their religion to work against themselves. They use their evil intentions against themselves.

1. WALKING IN THE LIGHT OF THE SAVING TRUTH
2. WARNING FOR THE LOST WITHOUT HIS SAVING TRUTH
3. WORTHINESS OF THE LORD OUR SUSTAINING TRUTH

1. WALKING IN THE LIGHT OF THE SAVING TRUTH
John 8:12-18
Just as anyone can talk about his/her profession, Jesus also said "I am the light". But this made the Pharisees stood in opposition of him that his record about himself isn't true. He clarified it in verses 17 & 18. Other records has been given by John the baptist in John 1:9 and some in Matthew 4:16,17; Malachi 4:2
We are to separate ourselves from these doubters and argumentatives. John 8:12; 12:35,46; Ephesians 5:8-11,14; Romans 13:11-14

2. WARNING FOR THE LOST WITHOUT HIS SAVING TRUTH
John 8:19-27
Jesus warned them of perishing; He warned them of missing heaven; He warned them of damning their soul John 8:21,22. His warning was clear and pointedly. Verse 44.
They understood earthly matters but didn't understand essentially eternal truths. All knowledge will fail on the last day if one does not have the  knowledge of Salvation. The knowledge of who Jesus is, as He that takes away sin, brought about redemption and as He which will take us to heaven is what is most needful. John 7:34; 3:18,36; Hebrews 2:1
We are to give earnest heed to the message of salvation, Sanctification, making our ways right, the word of God that we are hearing.
Hebrews 10:26-31. The Pharisees knew that this is the Redeemer and they willfully rejected Him. Many of the Scribes and Pharisees died without salvation.

3. THE WORTHINESS OF THE LORD OUR SUSTAINING TRUTH
John 8:28-30; 12:32-36; 8:28; 5:19,30; 6:38; 12:49; Matthew 3:17; Hebrews 11:5
You must live a life that is so clear that God can testify to just as God testified to in Matthew 3:17.
Christ is the Saviour, Sanctifier, Redeemer and has been revealed
John 8:30. He is the worthy, so:
_Acknowledged Him
_Believe Him
_Receive Him
_Confess Him
_Obey Him
_Live for Him
_Follow Him until the end
"I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back"
John 14:1-3; 17:24.
The Light has been revealed, we are to walk in the Light

THE TRINITARIAN CHALLENGE OF THE TRIUNE GOD

TUESDAY LEADERS DEVELOPMENT
ON 290817
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI

THE TRINITARIAN CHALLENGE OF THE TRIUNE GOD
I John 5:7; John 3:16; I John 4:14; John 17:18; 20:21; Acts 13:4
The Father is involve in preaching the gospel. The Son is involved so also is God the Spirit involved.

_Commitment is rewardable and carelessness is punishable

1. THE PREEMINENT COMPASSION OF GOD THE FATHER
2. THE PREDOMINANT COMMISSION BY GOD THE SON
3. THE PREVAILING CONFIRMATION OF GOD THE HOLY GHOST

1. THE PREEMINENT COMPASSION OF GOD THE FATHER
II Peter 3:9; I John 4:14
Left to the Father, He'll take everyone to heaven but man has been made to have a choice. That was why He sent Christ to die for the sin of the whole world. So that we all can make it to heaven. God is telling us to prevail on our neighbours with love and turn them toward God, heaven and toward light
John 3:16 - this explained the preeminent action of God. His love was a passionate one that He gave His best (Christ) in heaven. His heart, His love, His mercy, His heaven is large enough to take everyone. The world was condemnable and still condemnable but His door of mercy is opened to all to be saved. He want this compassion to be preeminent in our lives.
Acts 3:26; 15:7,14-18; Galatians 1:15,16; I Corinthians 9:16,17,19-22; Romans 1:1,16; I Thessalonians 2:4

Matthew 28:18; 24:12-14; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:45-48; Acts 5:27-35; 18:9-11
This is the Supreme responsibility of the whole church to:
_Reach the unreached
_Seek the unsought
_Snatch them from Satan
_Deliver them from death and hell
_Go after the godless
_Pursue them and let them not perish
_Preach to them
_Pray for them
_Plead with them
_Persuade them
_Prevail on them until they yield
_Prevent them from hell
_Preserve them for heaven
This assignment is more important than gaining the whole world

3. THE PREVAILING CONFIRMATION OF GOD THE HOLY GHOST
Acts 13:2-4; Mark 13:10,11; Luke 12:11,12; Acts 4:8-12,31; 13:6-12.

THE SHINNING LIGHT OF THE SAVIOUR’S WISDOM

MONDAY BIBLE STUDY MESSAGE
ON 280817
BY PASTOR W. F. KUMUYI

THE SHINNING LIGHT OF THE SAVIOUR’S WISDOM
John 8:1-11

He went to the Mount for:
*solitude
*meditation
*inventory
*prayer
*renewal
*reflection
*refreshing
"we must always find time to recharge our batteries". So also is our lives, we have to charge our batteries constantly else we become dull, dreary and finally dead
Luke 21:36-38; 19:47; Acts 5:19-21,42

From this study, we see Jesus turned
*rude interruption to divine intervention
*condemnation to conversion (positive construction)
"As though He heard them not"- it is not everything you hear that you talk on otherwise you'll have your life choked up

1. A WICKED ATTEMPT TO CONFOUND THE SAVIOUR
2. HIS WISE ANSWER TO. CONVICT THE SCHEMERS
3. THE WONDERFUL ASSURANCE FOR CONVERTED SOULS

1. A WICKED ATTEMPT TO CONFOUND THE SAVIOUR
John 8:1-5
The Pharisees were not good people. They were asking the question to discredit and condemn Jesus (verses 4,6)
Be very careful with people that come to flatter you, they are throwing the bait just to catch you
John 18:31; Acts 6:11
Considering the Pharisees and their deeds: Matthew 12:14; 16:1,4,6; Mark 10:2; 11:17,18; 12:13-17.
Jesus overcame all the attempts of the Pharisees every time

2. HIS WISE ANSWER TO CONVICT THE SCHEMERS
John 8:6-9

-wise action: He heard but was quiet and acted as though He never heard. In triumphant quietness the Pharisees saw that he is not fearful, furious nor fretting.
-wise approach: He diverted their attention from the woman to themselves. This approach destabilized
-wise attitude: He was peaceful and poised. This gave the assurance to those who are learning the heavenly truth from him as Master
-wise answer: His answer shut them up and they could say anything further. It brought undeniable conviction upon them.
- wise admonition: His wise admonition confirmed his teaching and serves as warning as we approach the judgement day
John 8:6; Psalm 38:12-14; 39:1,2; Ezekiel 3:26,27; John 8:7,8; Job 34:21
"take your time and be quiet when they are putting pressure on you, that time of quietness will keep you from saying something unprofitable and help you speak the needful"
Psalms 44:20,21; 139:1-12
Sinners accusing another sinner even unto death, what hypocrisy is that? Romans 2:1-3; I John 3:20
Matthew 7:1,2

3. THE WONDERFUL ASSURANCE FOR CONVERTED SOULS
John 8:10,11

John 8:11 (KJV)  "Neither do I condemn thee:" - Jesus Christ wasn't saying that sin is not condemned, of course adultery is condemned, fornication is condemned, and all other sin is condemned. Only that she as a person is not condemned to death but grace is available to free her. He continued "go, and sin no more" John 3:17; Romans 8:1,2; John 8:11; 5:14; Romans 6:1,6,11,12,18,22; Ephesians 4:22,24,25,28; I Peter 2:1-3
