THE DIVINE CHARGE FOR ALL MINISTERS OF CHRIST
II Timothy 4:1-5; I Timothy 5:21
The Christian ministry is a Solemn ministry. A serious charge and solemn charge that is made before the God of heaven.
God is watching us and checking If we are doing the work:
- Faultlessly
- Freely
- Faithfully
- Fearlessly
- Fervently
- Fruitfully
On the other hand, God is watching us if we are doing it:
If we are doing it
- Feebly
- Faintly
- Fleshly
- Falsely
- Fraudulently
- Flippantly or frivolously
- Forgetfully

1. THE CHARGE BEFORE THE FAITHFUL IMPARTIAL JUDGE

We are to preach the whole word both in season and out of season
The charge is:
- Concise
- Clear
- Compelling
The charge is like
Student charge: the main objective is to go and learn not to focus on extracurricular activities. On the final day of judgment all extracurricular activities will never come into consideration
Soldier's charge:

2. THE CERTAINTY OF THE FINAL IMMINENT JUDGMENT
This judgement isn't too far away. Even before rapture, people who have finished their work have had to go.

Everybody knows there is death it is only that you may not know the exact day
Romans 2:5,6,16
People don't like thinking about the final day the same way the students don't like about examination day.

3.  THE CHALLENGE OF FULLY-FOLLOWING THE INCORRUPTIBLE JUST ONE
Identifying the JUST ONE - Acts 3:14; 7:52, 22:14; I Peter 3:18
Christ pleased the Father in all things and we are called to be conformed to him
Romans 8:29; Philippians 2:5; Galatians 2:20; I Peter 2:21; II Timothy 4:2-5
What Jesus Christ did:
- He Preached the word - II Timothy 4:2; Mark 2:2; 1:38; Other apostles did same - Acts 8:4
- He was instant in and out season - II Timothy 4:2; John 4:6-10,33,34
- Reprove and rebuke - II Timothy 4:2; Mark 8:33; Luke 9:54,55; I Timothy 5:20,21
- Exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine - II Timothy 4:2;John 3:3-7; Matthew 22:16;
- Endure afflictions - II Timothy 4:3-5; Hebrews 12:1-3
- Did the work of an evangelist - Luke 19:10
- Make proof of the ministry - II Timothy 4:5 John 4:34; 9:4; 17:4
